Short Bread...

The English are coming...

A bit of Tea and Short Bread should do the trick for our visitors. Even though I assume it doesn't matter what I serve them, they are not here for the food... Think there might be a grandson that is slightly more interesting than my short breads!?

Anyway, the Short Breads are actually really nice so I wrote down the recipe in case anyone would like a go.

Apple Muffins

A lovely bit of muffin??

Im in a bit of a baking mood at the moment, and for some reason it all involves Apples.

Pies, Muffins, Cakes...

Today I made muffins, using a normal Muffin recipe (I´m sure most of you have your own favorite muffin recipe...) Then, I just added some chopped apples, dipped in a lot of sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkled a bit of the cinnamon and sugar mixture on top... 

Nice and sweet!

Halloween treats

Today we have been celebrating Halloween by making Crispy buns... They are a piece of cake to make, which is how we like it! I know you English people all know how to make them, but for those Norwegians who fancy a treat here is the recipe:

150g (200g if you are greedy like Jamie) Milk chocolate

50g butter

2 tablespoons sirup
melt together, then add:

80-90g cornflakes

Yum yum...
