Christmas time

Christmas time...
The apartment is sold and we are ready for Christmas! The tree has been up for a long time already and all presents bought in... Now all we need to do is wait for the special day.
We are lucky enough to celebrate two christmases, one in Norway and one in England. We have already had an amazing celebration in Norway, now ready for the English one... Noah´s very first christmas!!

Merry Christmas!!

Three very Special baubles to me... One from each of my grandmothers and the one in the middle from my Great grandmother. I love using baubles that have a history and means something to me. The decorations don´t always have to match.

Christmas is Near

I know it´s not Christmas quite yet, but it´s certainly getting closer!! I love Christmas, gifts and lots of lovely decorations (home made and bought). These are home made, simply used a bit of "Fimo leire", my new letter stamps and cake cutters. By the way, I will put them aside until christmas...I´m not that keen! Also got a new box from Søstrene Grene, the bottom one.

Happy Fathers day to my Pappa and to the Daddy of my Little one!!!

1 of 4

A little Christmas preparation. After seeing the idea in the book `Epla Jul´ I tried to make some christmas baubles. But as the heading reveals, only 1 of 4 was successful. Im very happy with the one that was successful though!! I will try again and make sure the room isn´t so warm causing the balloons to collapse :)

Christmas baking...

As an old Norwegian tradition we were doing a bit of Christmas baking. Not exactly seven different kinds (which is the tradition), more like two. Ellen was in charge of the home made caramel, I was doing the pepper cakes, Jamie was pretending to be an architect making the shapes for the house and Heidi was coming with advise and eating pizza...

A little ¨Funky style¨ pepper cake house... (There has already been someone taking big bites of the sides of it...maybe a little Christmas mouse I wonder)

Our first real Christmas tree

My beautiful Reiko Kaneko Christmas bauble...makes me smile!

We didn´t exactly go out chopping it ourselves even though Jamie desperately wanted to. No doubt it is the nicest Christmas tree we have ever had! (Even though every Norwegian says that about their tree every year...)

Soon Christmas time

A new addition to our flat is this lovely white gloss cabinet. A moving in present from the
Bell´s when they came to visit, Thank you very much!

We are feeling the christmas spirit and the flat is feeling cosy with some lovely christmas decorations. Jamie has even got his red christmas socks on... He is also keen to go out and chop his own christmas tree!
